About PLANN
We are a network of library workers (librarians, cataloguers, archivists, library technicians, volunteers and shelvers – not just librarians) across Naarm (so-called Melbourne).
We believe in the right of self-determination for Palestinians and we are deeply disappointed with the silence of leadership teams and associations throughout the Naarm Library and Information sector while Palestinians suffer from genocide and ethnic cleansing.
PLANN has been investigating cases of library staff facing repression over Palestine actions, including being banned from wearing keffiyehs and being instructed they are to be “neutral” on the issue.
